Born and raised in central Kentucky, horses and equestrian events have been a staple in his life. He has been photographing thoroughbred races and  horses since he was very young.  He attended The Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event as a young man an his passion began to grow.  While most children wanted to ride the horses, Marc wanted to photograph them. He acquired his first professional camera at the tender age of thirteen and his dream to be the best horse photographer began to flourish.
